sorry for leaving my blog dull this few days.
I've been away to Batam, Indonesia with my npcc and ncc cadets(:
I'm gonna elaborate what happen during the trip kkay?
I'm gonna write the timings according to singapore time kkay?
if you wanna count according to indonesia timing,
its an hour slower than singapore timings(:
First day of trip:
assembled in school ad 6.30am and boarded bus ad 7am.
reached harbourfront and assembled down.
boarded ferry ad 9.20am and reached batam ad 10.30am.
bus-ed off to our four star hotel named, Harris Resort(:
had a welcoming done by their resort crew.
they gave us a towel and it smelled so damn nice!
and a small cup of some sort honeydew milk.
thought of bringing back the towel but must retain back ):
so took our bags and put ad their lounge and off for our activites.
the two activites were bowling and archery.
fortunately the ncc cadets went for the archery first
whereas npcc cadets went for bowling ad the alley(:
when we were about to switch,
we npcc cadets didn't get to go archery cos lots of mosquitoes.
so instead we headed to their food lounge to have our lunch(:
I had rice with sweet and sour fish with chap chai dish.
and had the dish along with honeydew and watermelon fruits!
and the drinks would be just a cup of mineral water.
after lunch, we had been seperated into groups for the bedrooms.
I'm in group 10 along with jasmine (I think) and michele.
we had been aligned into room 318 ad the 3rd floor.
so yeah I'm holding the key cos of some reasons(:
once I opened the door and lights, I was like WOW!
so I chose the middle bed cos it's like really facing the tv(:
I jump-ed onto my bed than chill-ed before going back down again.
went back down again ad 2.15pm to assemble.
bus-ed off to the small kids orphanages.
the journey was so long that everyone slept in the bus.
once we reach-ed there, the kids were having their lunch.
they only had a plate of plain rice along with only half-fish each person.
so yeah we did our activities that we planned for them in school earlier.
before we leave, they sang for us 3 types of songs.
the last part, they pray for us and damn I was crying ad one corner ):
bus-ed off back to our hotel resort to have our wash up before dinner.
my dinner would be, fried noodles with chicken and sweet sour fish.
along with watermelon and papaya fruits. of cos mineral water again.
my table cadets we finished off the whole big plate of papaya!
after dinner, we had a short briefing ad the lounge.
after briefing, off we went to the bowling alley again instead of our rooms.
had so much fun! went back to our rooms and 11pm to rest.
I totally can't sleep cos it was damn cold and missing lots of people.
so yeah I woke up and ate my medicine of tried to sleep again.
but fortunately I cant sleep again. so I made a hot tea for myself.
me and michele watched tv. suddenly, I dropped the mug!
ouhgosh I had to become a part-time cleaner ad night.
damn I was scared after the incident happened.
called dearestlove and chatted on the room phone.
I lay-ed down and suddenly I'm already off to lala land(:
Second day of trip:
a wake up call by our tour guide.
I totally can't hear the call even I was sleeping beside it(:
so yeah my junior woke me up.
I went back to sleep again while waiting my junior finish bathing(:
she shook me up again asking me to bath.
so yeah I bath. blahblahblah.
we went down for breakfast later than the time we had been given.
supposed to be down ad 7.45am but I went down ad 8am(:
I had scrambled egg, baked beans, hotdogs for breakfast.
along with watermelon fruits and some side dish(:
saw my tour guide and had a short conversation.
tour guide: why so late come down?
me: hehehex! (smiled)
tour guide: why? cannot wake up isit? got wake up call still sleeping?
me: hehehex! no larh. (walked off)
went back to our room after breakfast to take our bags and check out.
I had to pay $7.60 for the phone call I made yesterday.
I was praying hard that I never kena pay for the mug.
damn I was releaved cos I wasn't found out about the broken mug(:
today there's a new tour guide with us but his from batam.
his a mixture of chinese and malay.
we went for go-kart quite nearby with our resort.
after I finish my go-kart, had a short conversation with some of my teacher.
me: how mr yap, I drive very good or not?
mr yap: I think if you drive ad singapore conferm kena fine one
me: hehehex! (smiled than walk off)
*next conversation*
me: mr ang, I drive very good or not just now?
mr ang: very good(: where you learn how to drive?
me: I usually went go kart and pasir ris(:
mr ang: ouhokey. I see.
during on the road, syiqin and me had a competition together.
she drift-ed in front of me during one of the turns.
I was like walaoeh. good that I can't avoid her.
but than either me or her gor first I don't know.
so after go-kart, off to shopping and their dry goods best shop(:
I slept in the bus during the journey to the shop.
when reach the shop, nobody woke me up. thankgod I woke up myself(:
I bought a packet of coffee for my father whereas I bought chips for my mummey.
after that, we headed off to their greatest seafood restaurant nearby for lunch(:
I had rice with kang kong belacan and sweet sour fish dish.
along with coconut drink(:
at the restaurant, there's a big shark, fish, prawns and clams.
after that I went to watch their kuda kepang show ad the side.
after our lunch, we're off to our shopping ad their biggest mall!
I bought, shades, wallet, singlet, slippars,
bracelet, scarf for my mother and half dozan donuts(:
bus-ed off to the ferry terminal ad 4.30pm as our ferry is at 5.15pm.
slept in the ferry as I was too exhausted(:
the man beside me is like snoring away and it was so irritating.
reached back in singapore around 7pm I think.
waited for my parents and brother to come fetch me(:
reached home ad 8pm and watched singapore idol.
mummy ordered kfc for whole family to eat(:
ate j.co donuts I bought and some from brother tekong ns place.
fell asleep while waiting for singapore idol result show as I was
too exhausted and pain all over my body.
